She continued her pioneering research into the long term impact of the BP Deepwater Horizon oil blowout. What BP and the US Coast Guard are trying to hide

It’s now a crime in the US to get too close to the oiled wildlife  at the beaches  (and get in range to take pictures (65ft)).

Fox News misinformation campaign regarding BP oil spill

well, id you know Fox News, you know that their network is not neccessarily ‘fact-driven’. But regarding the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico (see this earlier post) they simply started a campaign of lies and misinformation.

Media Matters for America has compiled a list of myths and falsehoods about the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, all of which have been pushed by Fox News.

die Firma REWE verkauft ‘Schillerlocken’, welche aus den Bauchlappen des Dornhais hergestellt werden.

Der Dornhai (wikipedia) ist vom Aussterben bedroht und steht deshalb auf der Roten Liste gefährdeter Arten.

REWE, genauer die Herren Alain Caparros und Lionel Souque, wissen das auch… ist denen aber scheißegal.

Perfiderweise wirbt REWE sogar mit einem MSC Siegel und dem Slogan “Das blaue MSC-Siegel. Für Fischgenuss mit Zukunft.”

“Produkte von stark gefährdeten Fischbeständen verschwinden nach wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen zunehmend aus dem REWE Sortiment – dafür kommen mehr MSC-zertifizierte REWE Eigenmarkenprodukte dazu.”

Tja, das übliche Geschwätz…
